Rene,.....I couldn't agree with you more !! (Once on the road to destruction, it is a hard way back !) I had a (so-called) friend,..and thought he was a brother, that allowed, (just to start),..... his 2 sons to get "tattoos",.....and then all the ear rings etc.,.....and he thought it was so cool ! It was very interesting that the "tattoos" were of a cross,...with Philippians 4:13 printed on and around the cross........and then, he even had a matching tatto printed on his shoulder to be one with his kids !! He thought that you can do all things, in Christ !!!,......even "sin" !!......in the Name of the Lord........and there was nothing wrong with it ! It is all about Grace,....not obeidence,........was his thinking. My point !~~~~If we aren't obeident to HIS WORD,(in the beginning).....it will be all "down hill".I watched both boys go from High school to college, ( and I could see the father fall, more and more to the calling of this world, and into a falling state of abomination,........to points where this guy would send his boys each year to Florida, or Mexico,.......along with $5,000 each (to have fun !!), .....to get drunk, have sex, and drugs......because he felt that they needed to experience the "world" to know about the world, to know what is "sin" ! (A real Christain teaching of a (lost) father !!!) One of his kids ended up living with a girl,.....and the father thought nothing wrong with it,.....and even said things like,..."everyone is doing it,.....so it isn't wrong !"...etc. (Yikes !!)......and now has gotten married,............so he thinks it is all right, now !! The other son has ear rings, (and everything else)...... where they are stretching the ear lobes, where it leaves big open circles in the ears,...and he is looking like a female more and more,..but the father thinks nothng of it....and sleeps with anything he can find. It got to a point where he wouldn't listen to anything from God's Word,...on what and what we suppose and aren't suppose to do.......and as much as I tried to show him,.......God's Word...he rejected it........till one day I heard the Lord's voice telling me,......"I will not put up with his Lawlessness, any more" !.......and made it clear to me, to stay away from this man, and his lawless, family. This man is unteachable !!! This man has turned to do more "evil" things to people.......and has continued to live on this road to destruction. I am not saying it was the "tattoos" that caused all this,......but I believe once you start on a road, against the Lord's Holy Word,......and think the Lord won't mind if I do alittle "sin".......we won't see the results down the road,........ in a state of total rebellion, and lawlessness, in a totally lost state. I haven't seen him (which I don't want to).......in over 2 years,......but I have heard that he has been kicked out of churches, because of his "lawlessness" 2 times......and asked not to return. May we all stay on the road of "truth" !!!.....and be totally obeident,.....to HIS WORD,..no matter how little it seems !!! Satan only needs a little opening, to drive a "big wedge" in !!! May the Good Lord "protect", those who are HIS !!!......in these EVIL times ! Come Sweet Jesus,........COME !.......today !
