Just a few photos to show you of one area where alot of work is going on.
It will be so much easier to pray for these children in need when you see
them in photos. This is where "La Casa de mi Padre" has been doing some out
reaches, as in other places around the city. Yes,..this is their "Main
Street", in one of the places outside the main city,....in the year 2007, in
Baranquilla, Colombia. Hard to beleive it is still like this in many parts
of the world, isn't it ? Just a simple shoe/sneaker/school supplies out
reach to help these children. Many of these kids, even 12-13 years old
will be putting on shoes for the very first time. The man in the photos
(Robert) is my contact there, who sets alot of things up for me, like this
project before I go down etc. What I do is to make contact with locals
who will help us, help their own.......as in this case.......we worked with
a shoemaker, who sold shoes/sneakers at cost, so it produced work for
him,.......and the children received these shoes......so everyone
benefits,...........and the Lord receives the Glory !!
But,...aren't these children beautiful ???
I can hear your heart saying yes,......with tears of JOY !!
I know it will be so super when the Mission School is up and going. I am
talking to a guy now, who will give me 550 wheelchairs, FREE !!...and send
them there FREE, too ! What a blessing that will be when I get a small
"clinic" going so we can get children off the ground !!
