"The ordinal perfection of
ten and the righteous return of Jesus Christ Part Two"
The ordinal perfection of ten and the righteous return
of Jesus Christ Part Two
In the Old Testament the law is described through the
number 10. Let me ask you a question. What is the main theme of the New
Testament? The grace of God through His Son Jesus Christ is stronger and
more powerful than the law.The grace of God is able to redeem a man or
a woman in His Son Jesus Christ through his or her simple faith. Try and
keep this basic truth in your mind as I give you more examples of 10 and
the law. I would also like to show you more examples on how the number
10 ties in with current events and end time Bible prophecy. More evidence
that we are close to the rapture of the church.
It is very important that we never lose sight of the
fact that 10 means ordinal perfection. If we ever forget the original meaning
we will never be able to practically apply this to our lives or understand
the signs of perilous times that we presently live in at this point.
Examples would be the 10 commandments, the 10 plaques
in Egypt or the fact that fire came down from heaven 10 times in the Old
Testament. The good news is Jesus Christ came to fulfill the law not break
it. He fulfilled the law 100% to the exact measure when He walked on this
earth. "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I
am not come to destroy, but to fulfill." Matthew 5:17.
We accepted Jesus Christ into our hearts as our personal
Savior; therefore, we follow Jesus Christ not the law. Romans 4:15 is very
clear that the law worketh wrath, so if individuals have not received Jesus
Christ for the remission of his or her sins then just like this verse says,
they are under the wrath of God. When a person accepts Jesus Christ as
his or her perfect sacrificial atonement for his or her sins, then the Bible
says "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ
Jesus"....which tells me that there is a vast difference between a redeemed
person (grace) and an unregenerate person (wrath). The devil will never
explain this to people because everything is kind of blended together as
one but don't believe it because this is a deception from hell.
It is impossible to fully understand the meaning of this
biblical number 10 if we can not comprehend the difference between law
and grace. I just quoted the verse that says "The law worketh wrath" which
I believe takes on a whole new meaning if one counts the works of the flesh
in Galatians 5:19-21. The"tenth" is wrath. This not only proves to me that
the Bible is divine but it also got me thinking about why God waited "10"
generations from Adam to Noah before the flood. The reason for this is because
if a person/group does not allow God in their life/lives then they are
under His wrath.
Let me use myself as an example. Since I accepted Jesus
Christ into my heart I am no longer under wrath because the lamb of God
(Jesus Christ) paid for my sins on the cross. I am no longer under law
but grace. Anytime the law is involved it usually becomes very complicated
but God makes it so simple. Just accept Jesus Christ into your heart by
simple faith and receive the grace of God. A five year old could comprehend
this; however, a 60 year old would probably make this complicated. No offense
if you are 60 years old but that is the grace of God.You know what I am
trying to say. There are only two approaches to God and they would be faith
or intellect. God will only accept simple faith in His Son Jesus Christ.
He will never accept an intellectual approach because it is foolish in
the eyes of God. He knows so much more than we do.
It bothers me if I give a so called Christian a test
and he or she fails. Sometimes I ask "if you were to die tonight and God
were to ask you why I should allow you to come into my Kingdom what would
you say." The answers I get are so ridiculous. Because I was pretty good.
Because I never hurt anybody. Because I guess my sins are forgiven. It
is not just the foolish responses I get but the lack of thought that most
people put into their own eternal destiny. It is a mystery. In comparison
to the population of the world very few people even care about where they
are going after they die. This does not change the truth or reality. Every
person reading this article is either under grace or wrath. If that does
not get us thinking I don't know what will. The proof of this is in the
biblical meaning of this very important number 10.I also get the distinct
impression that these very same people have no real clue that God loves
them.
Do you recall that famous passage in Romans 8:38? There
are "10" powers in the universe that war against the love of God. Obviously
our Lord Jesus Christ is above them and they do not even come close to
being strong enough to defeat the love of God. This is comforting because
I know now that on earth or in heaven I can have continued fellowship with
God regardless as to what opposition rises up.The Apostle Paul is speaking
to Believers in this context because how would an Unbeliever be able to
even experience the love of God? They can not because they do not even
know Jesus Christ who is the author of true Holy love.
What Paul is saying is we serve an all powerful God with
love that can not be touched yet can be experienced. God never changes.
Hebrews 13:8. He has always been an all powerful God that is Holy with
perfect love and there has never been a time when willing participants
could not experience this due to "10" other powers in the universe (law)
because His love is above and more powerful than these forces He created.
Look at all the conflict and strife and then take a look at the love of
God which is above and beyond all these powers yet so close to us if we
know Him.This comforts me because in Romans chapter 8 Paul establishes
that he is speaking to true Believers in Jesus Christ. In Romans 8:37 He
says,"Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him
that loved us." He goes on to say, "For I am persuaded, that neither (1)
death, (2) nor life, (3) nor angels, (4) nor principalities, (5) nor powers,
(6) not things present, (7) nor things to come.
Verse 39-----(8) nor height, (9) nor depth, (10) nor
any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39. If you are one of those
persons that would give an answer such as "I am a good person" or "I guess
my sins are some how forgiven" just think about the verse I quoted and
understand how much God loves you and how powerless these "10" powers really
are to defeat Jesus Christ. You can be a part of this victory. It sure
beats not knowing where you stand in life or eternity.
The bottom line is 10 is a legal number but Jesus Christ
did not break the law, He fulfilled it perfectly. We as Christians
do not follow the law, we obey Jesus Christ. Hopefully we will see how
this number (10) progresses from the law to Jesus Christ. Another way of
paraphrasing this is, there is a law but we have Jesus Christ instead because
we accepted Him into our hearts. We are now under grace.
This is exactly why Passover and the number 10 have a
direct connection with each other. In Exodus 12:3, the Bible says "Speak
ye unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, in the
tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb." Remember
Jesus Christ fulfilled Passover and exacted all of the legal requirements
when He died on the cross the very day at Passover. In the Old Testament
the lamb was always taken to be sacrificed on the tenth day of the month.
This is how exact and consistent God is in His Word and plan. This was
the exact same day that Jesus Christ made His entry into Jerusalem before
He was nailed to the cross.
The perfect and consistent math and the sacrifice of
Jesus Christ on the cross is something to really ponder and never forget.
Unfortunately I will have to make a Part Three due to space. The third
part will explain current events and Bible prophecy related to the number
10 in the Bible. It is amazing to see how exact the Bible is and how much
Jesus Christ really does love humanity. He died on the cross for us the
very day the Bible foretold that He would. The pattern was given in the
Old testament and it was followed in the New testament. I think it takes
more faith not to accept Jesus Christ than to accept Him. If you have not
already done so it would be wise to ask Jesus Christ into your heart because
in Part Three I am going to give you a glimpse as to what is going to take
place on this planet in the very near future. The only real hope is the
rapture of the Church.
