"Hope floats"

Lots of dates come and past, I was looking at both November 8th and 11th, which are both in the rearview mirror now.  Sometimes when this happens you need a friend, so I went out to my back yard to have a chat with my Dog Rex.  I told him things were getting bad in the world and I was wondering when Jesus would come.  I told him that on November 7th the elections went bad and that on November 10th the Gay Pride Parade finally happened and took place in a building.  Bad, bad, bad…I asked him how he saw things coming around the corner, and he said “Ruff”.  I told him I agreed, and was still wondering when Jesus was coming.  I asked him what things would look like before Jesus came and he said “Ruff”.  This seemed to make sense to me, but I still wanted to get some confirmation, so I went out to my front yard where our tom cat Rocky hangs out.  Now cats are a little more emotional than dogs, and I knew this going into the conversation.  I told Rocky all the same things and how bad the world was getting and that I was looking for Jesus.  I asked him how he felt, and he said “Me-ow”, and I said “You-ow”?  and he confirmed again – “Me-ow”.  Well that was enough confirmation for me.

Matthew 5:3 (King James Version)
3Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

I do feel the U.S. and Israel have a spiritual tie-in in these last days.  Neither country is where we should be in relation to recognizing God.  These two events really could be a sort of beginning of the end.  We shall keep on looking.

Blessings,

Tony

P.S. – I try not to take myself too seriously at all, but know that I take God very seriously.

Psalm 126:2 (King James Version)
2Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.
