"execute order 66 - November 8th"

I do think there was some very important significance to November 8th.  Thank you John and all for the work that was done.  It is not in vain and we all can continue to work together praying and gleaning all that the Lord has for us.

Maybe you remember the latest Star Wars Movie “Revenge of the Sith” when the evil Emperor says “execute order 66”…it certainly reminded me of something very antichrist-like.  With everything that happened with the vote, including all the abortion issues and with the Gay Pride Gathering in Jerusalem – I think maybe “Order 66” may have taken place.

There is no shame in that at all.  When I was in the Navy you stood watch.  You had some ideas what you were looking for, but there were lots of time of simply waiting and watching.  When you did see something, you reported it.

Just because we don’t see anything that doesn’t me it doesn’t happen.  Here’s my own list of various explanations:

  1. I was wrong.  I do this often I’m sure, but I believe we are never wrong when it comes to our love for God.  When you are separated from one you love, you “seek and find with all your heart” – Jer. 29:13  Plus, we learn from our mistakes.  Falling off the bike helps you get on to ride it the next time.
  1. Something happened spiritually that we can’t perceive.  Some of this we may be able to know on the “other side”.  What a joy to continue learning from our Father and Creator!
  1. Something happened, but it wasn’t the Rapture.  Many times God has talked to me, and generally I am always thinking in terms of the Rapture.  Think of how simple it can be to get communication mixed up.  Maybe we are getting breadcrumbs on the way to the big date.  Again, we’ll know on the “other side”.
  1. Something happened, but it was personal.  I’ve had this happen many times.  Again communication is a learning process.  It’s not that God gets it wrong, but like a child, we are learning to speak and listen – basic spiritual communication skills.  Personal things are great.  Oftentimes when God speaks to me about something I go right to typing away, or talking away.  Later, something did happen, but on a personal level.  God loves to let us know that he loves just us.  What a wonderful Father!

My belief is that we really get to know about God in two ways:

  1. In Retrospect:  Looking at his word, his models, etc.  The only problem with this is that he is always doing a new thing as well.  The principals and concepts are the same, but he delivered Abraham, Moses, David, Joseph, Daniel, etc. all in different ways.  The principals were similar in many ways, but God is in many ways unknowable in that we don’t control outcomes.  Good thing is we get the rejoicing part!  (this doesn’t stop my from spending much time studying his word, relevant news, others communications and posts, talking about it, reading, etc.)
  1. In Revelation:  God anytime he wants as was in the case of Daniel, Joseph and many others can directly reveal his plan. When we are absolutely sure this is God’s word then we can also ask him what to do with it – there were times where it was communication with his servant for their benefit, other times to communicate to a group of people or another person or at times to all.  Discernment is not easy.  God will guide you in paths of Righteousness for his namesake (Psalm 23).

Hope this helps.

Blessings,

Tony
