http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/nov2006/jillh114.htm"This is totally speculative, but what if Yellowstone
exploded just as the rapture happened? There has been
quite a bit of news about the immenancy of its
exploding. There would be enough confusion and life
lost that the majority of the world wouldn't know or
really even be concerned with the fact that millions
just disappeared."This is for Jill: I love to speculate as well and I
do see the possibility of the Yellowstone supervolcano
explosion playing a big part in the Day of the Lord.
From what I have read about supervolcanoes, they
definitely can affect the climate of the whole world.
Here is a link which describes a previous supervolcano
explosion as bringing on an ice age:http://wiki.xdroop.com/space/climate/super+volcano+ice+age+link
"Approximately 75,000 years ago, a massive explosive
eruption from a volcano in western Indonesia (Toba
caldera) coincided with the onset of the Earth's last
Ice Age.. . .analysis indicate that the glass shards from the
first Toba eruption 788,000 years ago were dispersed
more than 2000 miles from the source. Fallout from the
eruption was deposited from clouds that drifted over
both the Indian Ocean and the South China Sea,
producing an extensive ash blanket that may have been
comparable in size to that of the last Toba eruption
75,000 years ago."Jill, I am of the opionion that the Yellowstone
supervolcano explosion will usher in the last half of
the Tribulation, or the "Day of the Lord":2 Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the
night, in which the heavens will pass away with a
great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent
heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will
be burned up.Isaiah 13:9
See, the day of the LORD is coming -a cruel day, with
wrath and fierce anger- to make the land desolate and
destroy the sinners within it.Zephaniah 1:18
18 Neither their silver nor their gold
Shall be able to deliver them
In the day of the LORD's wrath;
But the whole land shall be devoured
By the fire of His jealousy,
For He will make speedy riddance
Of all those who dwell in the land.Amos 5:20
Is not the day of the LORD darkness, and not light? Is
it not very dark, with no brightness in it?Zephaniah 1:14-15
14 The great day of the LORD is near;
It is near and hastens quickly.
The noise of the day of the LORD is bitter;
There the mighty men shall cry out.
15 That day is a day of wrath,
A day of trouble and distress,
A day of devastation and desolation,
A day of darkness and gloominess,
A day of clouds and thick darkness,http://exodus2006.com/yellcode.htm
The Bible Codes, which admittedly have not been
accurate to date, are predicting this Yellowstone
supervolcano event for 2010. Certainly makes the Day
of the Lord seem so near, and especially its
precursor, the Rapture:Luke 21:
34 "But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be
weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of
this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35
For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on
the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and
pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape
all these things that will come to pass, and to stand
before the Son of Man."(To John Tng: I hope, with you, for the rapture in
November, but if it doesn't happen, you will still as
always be a favorite!:)
