Amen to THAT, Reva!!!  I see that everywhere these days!  It's all about "me, me, me" with everyone!  In fact, I discuss this often with Richard's sister, Verne, who is a Jr. High teacher.  She goes through HELL teaching these kids!!!  They (as a general rule) have NO respect for teachers, parents, each other.  They cannot be disciplined by the principal, the teachers, their parents, or anyone else.  As the Lord wisely said, "Spare the rod, spoil the child".  He tells us not to withhold discipline.  And now if parents DO lovingly discipline their children, the child can claim child abuse and be taken away!  I tell her, "It's just like 2 Timothy 3 said they would be!", and that is the honest to God's truth!

 

But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. (2 Timothy 3:1-5)
