"Angels Unaware?"

To all Doves,

I agree with the article by Jan Mikael  about asking for Warnings.  Good article.  Just this past week, especially Friday as I was coming home from work and transferring from one bus to walk on over to catch my other bus connection, as I was getting off the bus and even before I stepped down onto the ground a young dark haired man, clean cut, said "Hello Pat" and made the sign of the cross. He smiled at me, his face being a very happy countenance, and boarded the bus.  Of course, I stopped abruptly to look back at him but was not able to engage in conversation as the door closed and the bus went on.  I thought "how did he know my name as I don't believe I've ever seen him before".

Of course, it made me think of what took place earlier that week just on the cattycorner from where I get off at and go to catch the next bus, another young man said hello to me. He almost stood right in front of me when I had crossed over the intersection as if he really wanted my attention. He too, acted as if I was suppose to know him.  He was well kept and wore glasses. I merely said hello as I always feel pushed to get to my destination so as not to miss my next bus.  I saw that he just watched me as I went on.  After a couple of minutes went by he slowly walked up to my bus stop and didn't say anything further.  He seemed very polite and would glance at me but not say anything. He seemed very respectful. When he had boarded another bus, I felt I should have at least addressed him a little bit more.

The week before that, on the bus was a man in a wheelchair, a person of the street.  He wanted my attention as I chose to stand up while going to that corner where I get off at to catch my next bus.  He engaged me in a conversation about Christian character while at work and wondered if I were a "company person". I told him although I work for a company, my real Boss is our Lord, Jesus. He challenged me on that and I share a story about the opportunity to minister to a family in crisis while at work on the phone. (It did win a Vice President's award and that's another story).  He then said "you do know Jesus. I can tell that you do know him. You talk with Him alot".  He told me he met Jesus in a church and how he talks with Him all the time and started to quote some verses of scripture back to me.  I saw that shortly I was to leave to catch my next bus and said to him, "I will see you around the throne".  He looked at me very seriously and said, "before you see me around the Throne you will see me again". He repeated it again by saying, "No, before you see me around the Throne, you will see me again".  He winked at me, nodded as if he knew about something and went back into his street jargon with other passengers.  I did get off the bus right then as it was my time to change buses. He had not asked me for money nor did he ask for a need to be met. He was very coherent with me. It was very unusual.

It is becoming an active corner that hasn't been like that before. Hmmm.
