October 27, 2006European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana revealed a great extent of his ignorance, and showed what a dangerous enemy he is of Israel's, when he told The Jerusalem Post Thursday:
Hamas does not want to destroy Israel but to liberate the 'Palestinians.'
The religious imperative cannot make anybody destry another country; that is an abuse of religion.
A strong-handed Israeli aproach to the conflict with the Arabs was not the best recipe to guarantee the security of Israel.
Despite the fact that the security fence had saved hundreds of Israeli lives, building it was not a good idea.
The goal of the 'peace process' is to end the occupation [sic] that began in 1967 by means of a two state solution.
The international community was "doing its utmost to ensure that the Iranian nuclear threat not reach "the red zone."
Israel should test the waters for peace with Syria by talking to Damascus.
