Daniel, John and all,
 
Just as the rest of us waiting and watching closely, I was  amazed that we did not go home the 8th. One thing from Genesis that seems hard to completely discern is from verse 17.
 
And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.

What is hard to understand is did the ark rest upon the earth for forty days before it was "lifted above the earth" or did this "lifting" occur sometime within the forty days?

Oddly, if it is any sort of indication of a coming "deluge" (mabbuwl) of events prior to being "lifted" above the earth, and we are here another forty days, it falls on Sunday December 17th.

Regardless of the disappointment of still being here, I am awestruck at all of our Brothers and Sisters who are digging so deep into His Word and finding such wonderful "gems" that we never noticed before.

Keep looking up people, the best is yet to come. Just as the ruler of the feast discovered in John 2:10, Jesus saved the best wine for last.
