Just a note to those disheartened by the recent election in the U.S. and the coincidental deflation of many hopes that the LORD was returning on the 8th of this month.
 
Psalm 118, verses 8 and 9 say:
 
"It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
 
It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes."
 
It's hard when you see people fail...but that's what we do best, folks--on every level. So we should not be surprised--but it still hurts, regardless.
 
Praise God, that He's not a failure. He's Faithful and True. His plan is underway and no one can stand in His way.
 
The only thing good about America is the Spirit of God dwelling in His children here--and that has always been the case: all the other trappings are illusory.
 
God's people are still here and we are to occupy till He comes. Praise God for His goodness inside us, and the good that we can do for this country while we are yet here.
 
May His Kingdom come and His will be done on earth, even as it is in heaven.
