"Peggy RE: 2 Witnesses"

Hello Peggy,

You are right about what the scriptures says about Moses, except that he is still buried.  The scriptures also state that Michael the Archangel fought with Satan over Moses' body.  So we really don't know where it is, or even if Moses was also resurrected and taken in bodily form to Heaven with Jesus or before.  What we do know is that he appeared the same as Elijah and Jesus did. Both of whom had not died in the flesh, but with their flesh shined brightly (along with Moses who did also).  The big difference is that Moses' body when he died had his face glowing like that since Sinai (which I believe that Satan wanted to use it as some sort of Idol for worshipping).

Jude 1:9 (NKJV)
Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!"

Exodus 34:29-30, 33-35 (NKJV)
34:29 Now it was so, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai (and the two tablets of the Testimony were in Moses' hand when he came down from the mountain), that Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone while he talked with Him.

34:30 So when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to come near him.

34:33 And when Moses had finished speaking with them, he put a veil on his face.

34:34 But whenever Moses went in before the L ORD to speak with Him, he would take the veil off until he came out; and he would come out and speak to the children of Israel whatever he had been commanded.

34:35 And whenever the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone, then Moses would put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with Him.
