The Database

This is probably the easiest of the three main technologies behind the Mark of the Beast to implement, but the hardest one to actually implement. Say What??? Yup, technologically speaking we have all the components to build some pretty detailed and robust databases.  The thing is that this is exactly the type of big brother tech that most people object to.  Only the Ted Kazinsky's of the world hate the internet and no one (except us Christians) would object to the chip if it actually contained all the data.  But this wouldn't offer you any security from ID theft or from tampering.  The Mark Database would also need to have access to the databases of Financial Institutions, Medical Databases, and Police Databases  (the Medical and Police database may just be part of the Mark's Database).  Now by monitoring where people have to identify themselves (buying and selling), you can monitor where they have been.  Thus you can track them.  I also wouldn't have a master database with everyone on it.  That alone would be HUGE and prohibitively slow.  I would break it up to regions, and subregions and have those subregions house the database.  I would assign numbers to the regions and subregions, making them part of the identification number of the individual.  That would essentially be doing for the databases what the US Military did for our ICBM launch network back when the internet was first created.

In Summation

As you can see, even though there are solutions out there to the issues involved with implementing  the Mark of the Beast, the Mark system isn't quite ready.  Although Mr. Kinsella is usually pretty good about these things, I can tell you that we are not quite ready for the Mark of the Beast. Now,  I believe that the AC will actually begin the implementation of the system almost as soon as he takes office.  This will all be prepartory in upgrading the infrastructure to meet the requirements of the chip, producing the initial shipments, and building the databases and applications that are going to make up the Mark system.  I also believe that all the preparation will be completed by the midway mark of the Tribulation (3 years is just about enough time to get things squared away.  I also like the idea of the Mark (if it is anything like the system I described), I just don't like the requirements for receiving the Mark.
