1900-20th Century--Beginning of end-time prophecy being fulfilled, and Age of Deceit.I listened to Chuck Missler's audiotape, Betrayal Of The Chosen, Listen to Part 2 » , and below is an extrapolation of his audio teaching, mixed with quotes from http://users.cyberone.com.au/myers/balfour.html as well, as wikipedia, in my attempt to summarize this post concerning the Balfour Declaration, and the massive effect it had on our world today, and the Arab-Israeli situation. Be it known that I could have cared less about History class in school, so all this was all new information for me. Duh! But, in light of our current news in Israel and prophecy, I found it fascinating. I hope you will too. My ears certainly perked up when the date November 8th was mentioned, thus the reasoning for my post. ~~Kay
It began with the Dreyfus Affair "The Affair" . Enter a German Jew reporter named Theodore Hertzel. He was shocked by the anti-Semitism, and was convinced that a Jew could never be free unless he has his own homeland. He convened the first Zionist Congress. Enter Chaim Weizmann, who was very influential in British politics. Weizmann was a chemist who managed to synthesize acetone via fermentation. Acetone is needed in the production of cordite, a powerful propellant explosive needed to fire ammunition without generating tell-tale smoke. Germany had cornered supplies of a major source of acetone, calcium acetate and other pre-war processes in Britain were inadequate to meet the increased demand in the Great War. A shortage of cordite would have severely hampered Britain's war effort. The Minister for Munitions David Lloyd-George, who became Prime Minister shortly after, was grateful to Weizmann and also supported him. He traveled extensively promoting Zionism in Jewish and Russian settlements.According to Chuck Missler, "LARGELY DUE TO HIS EFFORTS, ON NOVEMBER 8, 1917, one month before a British officer entered Jerusalem, foreign secretary Arthur Balfour wrote to Lord Rothschild, a prominent figure in the British Zionist Movement,that the British Cabinet had approved the following declaration of sympathy for Zionism:"His Majesty's Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country."(I will add here that in researching the Balfour Declaration, the only date I found was November 2, 1917. However, Chuck Missler is usually not sloppy in his facts, so I have to wonder if the internet sources, as many times happens, is the result of one person's writing. But, considering the importance of November 8, I did want to share this.)With the oppressive conditions the Jews had in Europe, caused them to take this statement as a British commitment for a Jewish state, and to actively construct a Jewish home. Meanwhile the Sykes-Picot Agreement is going on, a secret agreement between Britain, France and Russia, carving up what was the former Ottoman Empire. The declaration is viewed as a gross betrayal of Britain's undertakings to support Arab independence in the Hussein-McMahon Correspondence of 1915–1916.In this, Britain gains control of Palestine, and France controls what is now Lebanon and Syria. So, when we get to 1919, the Versailles Peace Conference, Wilson argues for the elf-determination of peoples, and the Jews claim a Jewish home in Palestine, and Arabs claim an Arab state from Iraq to Yemen, EXCLUDING PALESTINE!Fast forward from the Balfour Declaration into the 21st Century, where we see a move to a Palestinian state. Isaiah 11:11 says that when God regathers them a second time, then that's the big climax coming. The first time was from Babylon, and May 14, 1948 was the second time. We are seeing how God moved and set up the circumstances for the new state of Israel, and positioning for the climactic 21st century forthcoming. Most of what people think they know about the Middle East is a deliberate deceit.Malcolm's belief in the Balfour Declaration as a means of bringing the United States into the war was confirmed by Samuel Landman, secretary to the Zionist leaders Weizmann and Sokolow, and later secretary of the World Zionist Organization. As {quote} the only way (which proved so to be) to induce the American President to come into the war was to secure the cooperation of Zionist Jews by promising them Palestine, and thus enlist and mobilize the hitherto unsuspectedly powerful forces of Zionist Jews in America and elsewhere in favour of the Allies on a quid pro quo contract basis. Chuck Missler's teachings Betrayal of the Chosen are listed below. I've posted them before I think, but I certainly "heard" more this time around. When you add all this to the incident before Gen. Allenby first entered Jerusalem and dropped leaflets, and the Arabs thought they were from Allah, then the miraculous incidences of the 1967 war, where Egyptian troops thought they saw massive amounts of Israeli soldiers, when there weren't many at all, reminds us of Almighty God's great plan for the end-times, and the restoration of all things, which are and always have been totally under HIS control.
