I wanted to take a moment and praise The Lord.A few weeks ago I was desperate for another job. The role I was in was starting to drain me of all joy. Though I had been with this particular company only a short time, my manager was a creep and regularly made me feel very uncomfortable. It was like I was living in the 1960's where anything goes in corporate America. Since I'm a young person, I'm accustomed to working in highly respectable and professional environments. No that does not mean it was a "PC" (politically correct) just nice and respectable.
So I was desperate like I said. I came home UPSET after work and my husband prayed for me. I read a story about how an angel helped someone get a job, and I was reminded of a story my pastor always talks about where Corrie tin Boom was sitting at her desk and looked up to see two big angels. After asking who they were they expressed how they were her "guardian angels" and how they were bored because they didn't have anything to do. Anyway after my husband and I prayed and after thinking about these two incidents, I prayed aloud for God to command my angels to take my resume to someone who needed me.
Now I must add that earlier that day I posted my resume on a career web site. After our prayers and my request to The Lord, I exclaimed to my husband that I felt so confident and I even stated "I bet I'm going to hear from someone tomorrow!" Well I didn't hear back from anyone the next day, but the following day I did! And to make a long story short, I am now working at a new place. What's more is God increased my pay! This company gave me more than I requested!!! What takes the cake for me is that God-Abba Father answered my prayers.
I wanted to share that with you all because God is so good....HE THAT ABIDES IN THE SHELTER OF THE MOST HIGH GOD...
The Lord is returning with chariots of fire and a trumpet sound! The heavens will break wide and a NEW DAWN will rise! You and I will see our Father's mighty army roar across the clouds. Can you only imagine?
WWWOOOHOOO!!
I can't wait!
