"Urgent prayer request"

Dear friends:

This is an urgent prayer request I might should have sent out long before, but maybe pride kept me from it.  I have shared it with several individuals, but not my e-mail friends.  I repent.  We really need God's intervention.

No, it is not a health issue.  Here is what it is.

We recently strongly felt the Lord moving us from Virginia back to Florida, which we just did.  We are not sure specifically why, although ministry is our motivation, but one reason I believe it was the Lord is because I never really wanted to return to Florida.  Really, it is the last thing I wanted to do.  I never even cared for this part of Florida.  But we felt a strong leading, and now that I am here, I have a real peace about it, a supernatural peace that passes understanding.  The Lord even put us in a place that overcomes my previous objections.

By faith, we put our house on the market in Virginia and bought a house in Florida, hoping the sale of the house in Virginia would provide the down payment.  But the Virginia house has not sold yet, so I had to get a "bridge (equity) loan" to pay the down payment.  Now I am paying off two mortgages plus the bridge loan with my meager savings.  Believe me, this cannot last long.  Not long at all.

Realtors say the housing market is dead right now, but we know God is able and is not limited by the world's market conditions.

We need prayer to move God's hand to bring a buyer for our house in Virginia.  We have prayed, we believe, and we know God has picked out someone, but sometimes God wants orchestrated and corporate prayer, thus this message.  It is a very attractive house, only five years old, like new, and and extremely clean.  We left it immaculate.

Please agree with us in prayer for a quick sale at a fair price.  I am counting on you.  "Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 18:19).

I will report to you later on what God does.  We believe this will be a testimony.

Thanks so much, and God bless you,

Jim
