Hi John and Doves.  Hopefully this will be about the last time we have to converse apart.  I have been following the issues of the Asteroid that is coming close to earth.  I have also been watching the space weather reports daily for quite some time now.  http://www.sec.noaa.gov/today.html

It is interesting that after a fairly long quiet time, the sun is once again getting active.  I don't know what would happen to a Near Earth Orbit (NEO) of something that ran right in the middle of a "well timed" CME from the sun but could it be a combination of things like this that cause a situation much like what we have all been talking about?  The effects of the CME on the earth have an effect of expanding our gravitational pull a bit.  satellites have to use more rocket power during the time that a CME passes earth.  Could this also affect the Asteroid coming close?  Or could the combination of both of these events at the same time combine to cause something that the individual events would not have done so if they didn't happen at the same time? The timing of all this is very very interesting.
 

I guess we have a very short time to wait and see.  It is scary and exciting all at the same time.
