Thanks for the nice post Deborah.  Lately, I too have wondered where a Muslim's loyalty lies in this country.  I see that a Muslim's loyalty must boil down to two things: To support and defend the US Constitution (Supreme Law of the Land) or support the Koran along with sharia law.  I can't see having loyalty to both at the same time.  If one correctly takes the Oath of Office and then breaks that Oath, then the individual is guilty of an Act of Insurrection, Breach of Oath, and probably a host of other Constitutional transgressions.  So, why bother even in allowing any person to run for Office, if he can not accept the correct Oath of Office, since the final result will be removal and possibly incarceration due to the breach of law?  Maybe, we should require all candidates for any public posts to publicly state their position beforehand.
