November 8, 2006 is Heshvan 17 according to the Jewish Calendar.
November 9, 2006 is Heshvan 17 according to the Karaite group, which bases it on the first visible crescent.
At Jerusalem time of the initial transit, it is still November 8, but Heshvan 18 on the accepted calendar (after sundown). However, it would be Heshvan 17 on the visual or witness based calendar. Either way it is still 14,400 days or 40 years of 360 days from June 7, 1967.

As has been said by others, the timing of the transit fits Christ coming at the midnight hour in Israel. Is this the indicator (Mark 13:35, Matthew 25)?

Time is coming fast enough and it will soon be known.

The parallel of the Rapture to the Days of Noah and Lot (Luke 17) suggest that when we are taken, judgment immediately follows (2 Thess. 1:6-7). Everything up to this point has pointed to days of interest and warning by the use of forty days this year (Av 9, August 14, September 11, Rosh Hashanah, and Heshvan 10). It now comes down to one day it would seem. One day to give our attention to the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Given what has been seen, it would be folly not to be showing some measure of faith on that day.

If it is not the day then there is still hope because it will still happen. There is no harm to being prepared and ready. The harm is not to be.
Will the Lord find faith on Earth when He returns?
