"Questioning the 360 day prophetic Year"

Questioning the use of a 360 day prophetic year....

I'd like to hear some thoughts on the validity of of the 'prophetic'
year and why we use it as I find no biblical basis for it.

Our current year is 365.25 days long and the 'prophetic' year is 360
days, did God just let the years lag behind, I think not....
This is my understanding of how the original Jewish calendar worked.

A jewish year was 12 months of 30 days or 360 days, and every 6th year
had an extra month added making it a year of 13 months of 30 days or
390 days.

Year 1 = 360 days
Year 2 = 360 days
Year 3 = 360 days
Year 4 = 360 days
Year 5 = 360 days
Year 6 = 390 days

Total 2190 days (divided by 6 years) = average of 365 days per year

6 cycles of 6 years = a cycle of 36 years followed by a 7th cycle of 4
years , the last of which has 13 months,

Year 37 = 360 days
Year 38 = 360 days
Year 39 = 360 days
Year 40 = 390 days

This brought the Jewish calendar to a 40 year cycle.

1st set of 6 years = 2190 days
2nd set of 6 years = 2190 days
3rd set of 6 years = 2190 days
4th set of 6 years = 2190 days
5th set of 6 years = 2190 days
6th set of 6 years = 2190 days
7th set of 4 years = 1470 days

Total 14,580 (divided by 40 years) = average of 365.25 days per year

God knew what he was doing...
