     A question was asked to the effect of 'Why would Jesus be redundant in repeating the food laws'  The same could be asked why He would be redundant in repeating the first and second greatest commandments: 'Love your God with all your heart, mind and soul; and love your neighbor as you love yourself.

     In several instances the word rendered 'food' in English comes from the Greek Bromos, from which we get our English word Bromide, which means 'stench' 'putrifying lump'. It does not mean 'food'. It is highly likely that the translation is incompetent. The fact is that the TRUE Mishna likely descended because:Genesis: 7:2 You shall take with you seven each of every clean animal, a male and his female; two each of animals that are unclean, a male and his female; Noah clearly could discriminate between clean and unclean animals. LOT knew it was spring-time Passover as He gave the angel visitors “unleavened bread”, and where would he get unleavened bread in “sin city” unless he knew to prepare it himself: Genesis 19:3 But he insisted strongly; so they turned in to him and entered his house. Then he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate. Jacob must have known also the Torah prohibition against torn flesh: Genesis 31:38-40 These twenty years I have been with you; your ewes and your female goats have not miscarried their young, and I have not eaten the rams of your flock. ³⁹ That which was torn by beasts I did not bring to you; I bore the loss of it. You required it from my hand, whether stolen by day or stolen by night. ⁴⁰ There I was! In the day the drought consumed me, and the frost by night, and my sleep departed from my eyes. The oral law (TORAH) is unavoidably seen in the early saga of mankind, prior to its formal penning by Moses.

     To think that "every green herb" is ok for eating, one must desert wisdom and allow oneself to "chew/eat/smoke marijuanna". Not everything that can be eaten should be eaten. It is NOT accident that since the early 1970's, that "bacon bits" started to garnish everything from salads to sandwiches, its definitely spiritual in nature.

     There are some animals, if we eat them, we die, even if you "pre-bless" them or boil them in holy water. Among these 'delicacies' are the small, bright green, orange and yellow frogs in South America and our own centipedes.

     Faith in Yeshua leads to salvation, but following the law is almost certainly connected with "heavy or light" anointings. Indeed, in addition to salvation, there are rewards or STATUS/RANK associated with our behaviour: Matt 5:17-19 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. ¹⁸ For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. ¹⁹ Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

     It is clear that MOSES had the LAW and the GOSPEL and KEPT BOTH!! (Heb 4:1-3). The LAW OF MOSES WAS EQUATED WITH THE LAW OF THE LORD (AND WE KNOW JESUS IS LORD, THUS, BY EQUIVALENCY THE LAW OF MOSES = THE LAW OF JESUS!!!--- Luke 2: ²¹ And when eight days were completed for the circumcision of the Child,^[e] His name was called JESUS, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.

²² Now when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were completed, they brought Him to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord ²³ (as it is written in the law of the Lord, “Every male who opens the womb shall be called holy to the LORD”),^{[f] 24} and to offer a sacrifice according to what is said in the law of the Lord, “A pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.”²⁵ And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. ²⁶ And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. ²⁷ So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, ²⁸ he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said: ²⁹ “ Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, According to Your word;  ³⁰ For my eyes have seen Your salvation ³¹ Which You have prepared before the face of all peoples, ³² A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, 
       ³⁷ and this woman was a widow of about eightyur years,^[i] who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. ³⁸ And coming in that instant she gave thanks to the Lord, and spoke of Him to all those who looked for redemption in Jerusalem.    
³⁹ So when they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own city, Nazareth. ⁴⁰ And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him.

     Clearly the 'Law of Moses' and the 'Law of Jesus' are fully equivalent.

     When the milennial reign of Christ copmes soon THERE IS SURE TO BE COMING SOME SEVERE CULINARY AND CULTURAL SHOCK!!!
