Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Colossians 4:2Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. Psalms 95:2
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. Psalms 100:4
Although an American tradition this November 24th, 2005, with THIS Thanksgiving, may we continue in prayer and come into His presence and enter His gates as He comes for His Bride.
Also, the parallels between Passover where the Jews each year give thanks in remembrance that the Israelites were saved from the Angel of Death and bondage to Egypt with Thanksgiving where the Americans each year give thanks in remembrance that the Pilgrims were saved from death the previous winter and bondage to the Church in England and to the immorality they left in Holland.

1. Spiritual liberty — 1600
Encouraged and inspired by the gifted Reformed pastors Richard Clyfton and John Robinson, to get and read their own Bibles (then against the law of England) and to receive Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Saviour (then no part of the teaching of the Church of England), the Pilgrims experienced a considerable degree of spiritual liberty (a measure of freedom from bondage to sin) and thus learned how to practice Christian self-government. As William Bradford wrote,
"by the travail of some godly and zealous preachers, and God’s blessings on their labors… many became enlightened by the Word of God and had their ignorance and sins discovered unto them, and began by His grace to reform their lives and make conscience of their ways…"2. Religious Liberty — 1603-1607When English officials removed both the Pilgrims’ own pastor, Richard Clyfton, and their brilliant younger minister, John Robinson, for denouncing the empty ritualism of the Church of England, the Pilgrims joined with them in forming a secret underground church in the splendid manor house, once virtually a mini-castle, belonging to their Elder, William Brewster.
There they practiced church self-government under a written covenant formed on the ancient Biblical pattern, which they all signed. As Governor Bradford later explained,
"So many… whose hearts the Lord had touched with heavenly zeal for his truth, shook off this yoke of antichristian bondage, and as the Lord’s free people, joined themselves (by a covenant of the Lord) into a church estate, in the fellowship of the gospel, to walk in all His ways made known, or to be made known, according to their best endeavors, whatsoever it should cost them , the Lord assisting them. And that it cost them something this ensuring history will declare."Soon they were arrested by the Church police for worshipping apart from the Church of England. Apprehended and jailed, tried and found guilty, and finally released, they saw it was no longer feasible for them to live in their beloved England. With great difficulty (still pursued by the police, who insisted they stay in England) they escaped to Holland, where they found plenty of freedom.
But it was freedom to do your own thing, freedom run wild, and after a decade they found this materialistic, anti-Christian freedom was corrupting their children, and they decided they had to make a fresh start in the New World.I first started this post after reading and thinking about the post on November 21, 2005 by Renee M. called "November 25-27, 2005 - dates to watch":

I thought this was a great post and was surprised there was not more buzz about it the coming day.
Yet it seemed to me that Thanksgiving should be the date to watch. Okay, there is the parallel with Thanksgiving and Passover with Jesus actually rising from the dead that coming Sunday which gets one to November 27, 2005 as in the post.

I'd theorized for the past several years that the rapture could be before the start of 10 years of tribulation sandwiched between 40 prophetic inclusive years and 50 prophetic inclusive years from Jerusalem's recapture day, June 7, 1967, (6/7/67 + 39 * 360 = 11/14/05; 6/7/67 + 49 * 360 = 9/23/15, Yom Kippur).
Yet others have brought up that June 7, 1967 could be 10 days, (or even 20 days) to early of the correct date to use:

The Old City Liberated
In June of 1967 the Jews were involved in a war that resulted in the liberation of the Old City of Jerusalem. On the third day of the Six Day War, Israeli paratrooper Motta Gur, mounted on a half-track, announced that the Temple Mount has been regained. On June 7 of that year the Israeli troops moved into the Old City and stood at the Western Wall (Wailing Wall) for prayer. Rabbi Shlomo Goren declared:"We have taken the city of God. We are entering the Messianic era for the Jewish people, and I promise to the Christian world that what we are responsible for we will take care of."The city of Jerusalem was reunified and the Star of David flew again from its ramparts. The Temple Mount Restored to Muslim Control
On Saturday June 17, 1967, shortly after the end of the Six Day War, Defense minister Moshe Dayan entered the Al-Aksa Mosque for a historic meeting. In a gesture of good will, Dayan sat down on the prayer carpet with five leaders of the Supreme Muslim Council (the Waqf) of what had been Jordanian-controlled Jerusalem. That discussion fixed Israel's policy regarding the Temple Mount, a policy that remains unchanged to this day.Dayan had ordered the Israeli flag removed from on top of the Dome of the Rock on the afternoon of the Old City's liberation. His discussion with the Muslims led to further concessions. The administrative control over the Temple Mount was to be the sole responsibility of the Supreme Muslim Council - the (Jordanian) Waqf. Though the Jews would be permitted free access to the Mount, prayer by Jews was prohibited. Dayan refused to permit any Jewish identification with Judaism's holiest site. To him, the Temple Mount held only historic interest. He said:
"I have no doubt that because the power is in our hands we must take a stand based on yielding. We must view the Temple Mount as a historic site relating to past memory."
And of course, adding 10 days to 11/14/05 brings us to 11/24/05, Thanksgiving.Let us Literally, "come before His presence with Thanksgiving!"
Shalom!
