"November 25-27, 2005 - dates to watch"

I believe that the dates between November 25-27, 2005 are dates we should be
watching for Jesus' coming or for a possible terrorist attack on the US.
Here are a few of the reasons:

1. Right after September 11, 2001, the US government issued warnings for
Americans the day after Thanksgiving since that is the biggest shopping day
of the year. They thought that if the terrorists wanted to pick a day for a
terrorist attack, that would be a day that they might choose to maximize the
number of casualties since so many Americans are out that day and are in
good spirits because of the holiday season, not thinking about terrorism.
Since that time, I haven't heard too many warnings about the day after
Thanksgiving being a day to be prepared for a terrorist attack, but I think
it's still a possibility.

2. Some scholars who study the Jewish Feasts have compared the Thanksgiving
feast celebrated by Americans to the Feast of Tabernacles celebrated by the
Jewish people. They are both a Harvest festival, where we come to give
thanks to God for the Harvest. The Rapture of the Church is a type of
harvest.

3. Many scholars also believe that Jesus was born on the first day of the
Feast of Tabernacles and was therefore circumcised on the 8th day of
Tabernacles. If Jesus was born on this Feast then Mary, the mother of Jesus,
would have had to wait 33 days after the last day of Tabernacles before she
would be allowed to enter the Temple to offer a lamb to make atonement for
her. Leviticus 12:2-7 "A woman who becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son
will be ceremonially unclean for seven days, just as she is unclean during
her monthly period. On the 8th day the boy is to be circumcised. Then the
woman must wait 33 days to be purified from her bleeding. She must not touch
anything sacred or go to the sanctuary until the days of her purification
are over. When the days of her purification are over, she is to bring to the
priest at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting a year-old lamb for a burnt
offering and a young pigeon or dove for a sin offering. He shall offer them
before the Lord to make atonement for her."

In Revelation 12, we see a woman who gives birth to a son, a male child, who
will rule all nations with an iron scepter. Obviously Mary gave birth to
Jesus, but I believe this passage could also be referring to this woman as
the Bride of Christ, the Church, as we give birth to God's Kingdom on earth
through prayer and obedience to Christ. If we as the Church can be compared
to Mary, who could not enter the temple and had to be purified for 33 days
after the circumcision of Jesus took place, perhaps we also will be allowed
to enter God's temple in heaven and our sins will be atoned for on the same
day that Mary would have entered the temple, 33 days after the last day of
the Feast of Tabernacles, which this year would take place on or near
November 27, 2005.

One sign in the skies that could be confirmation of this is the lunar
eclipse that took place on October 17, 2005, the first day of the Feast of
Tabernacles. If this date represented the "birth", this would be a good sign
for it because many people believe that the moon represents the Bride of
Christ, reflecting the sun (the Son). There is no darker day for a woman
than the day that she goes into labor, but that darkness only lasts for a
very short time and then the celebration begins, just as the sun was
darkened but for a moment and then the light of the moon came back. Jesus
said in John 16:21:22, "A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her
time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of
her joy that a child is born into the world. So with you: Now is your time
of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice and no one will take
away your joy."

4. The Flood that took place in Noah's day took place on the 17th day of the
second month, which would be the 47th day of the year. It appears from
Genesis 7:10 that Noah was given some sort of 7-day advance warning before
the Flood began. Perhaps our 7-day warning before the beginning of God's
judgment on earth is actually the date of the flood, the 17th day of the 2nd
month. If so, this would put the starting of God's judgment on the 24th day
of the month, which again would be right around November 27.

Just a few things to consider. Only time will tell if God has something
significant planned for these dates! Even so, come Lord Jesus!!!

Watching and Waiting,
Renee M.
