Hello family and friends:
Good morning to you all.   This is a special email for those who understand the dynamics of a family and how hard it is to sometimes break down barriers and speak truth.
Yesterday evening I had a long talk with Kristina and as a result she prayed the sinners prayer and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior.    She had asked Jesus to be her Best Friend when she was 9 years old but I wanted to make sure she understood how sin separates us from God but that He had sent Jesus as a substitute for all our sins, past, present and future.   We talked for about 45 minutes and I am confident she understands after the prayer that the Holy Spirit now lives in her.
I rejoice with the angels and after many attempts with dead phones and inconvenient times I praise God I was able to reach her with no interruptions.   I also praise Him for His mercy and grace to my granddaughter.   She was so open and receptive I was bowled over!
Thank you for your prayers for her and the family.   She meets with the Doctors at 11:30 this morning and then will be admitted for chemotherapy.   She has a long road ahead of her but with the Lord's help she will get through it with flying colors.   Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

What a day!

Audrey

2nd Update on Kristina

11:50  Nov. 18th  -- 11:50 AM

Received the following good news a few minutes ago.

Greetings family and friends:

Well praise the Lord and praise Him again.   Kristina was admitted to hospital last night (they finally found a bed for her) and she had her first chemotherapy treatment at about 11:00 p.m.  When I talked to her this morning, other than being tired (almost 12 hours later) she is feeling fine!   :)   No nausea, wow!
More good news in that the biopsy came back from her lymph nodes and there was NO cancer found (even though the Doctor said he was 80% sure they were cancerous).
Prayers are working, God is listening and we can rejoice today!
She will stay in the hospital for 24 or 48 hours depending on how her body functions and will receive the next treatment in three weeks.

Two special friends of ours stopped by to see her and she told them of the conversation she and I had had on Wednesday.   PTLA   Romans 10:9

blessings to you all,

Mom/Audrey
