It is unfortunate that many who call themselves evangelicals resort to
name-calling towards those who believe in the soon return of our Lord. This
is our blessed hope! The fact that the King is coming benefits all who
believe this and who are going through tough times. In a recent article in
"Charisma" magazine, not known for its eschatalogical understanding, writer
J. Lee Grady calls those who believe in "Left Behind" theology
(Dispensationalism) as holding to "doom and gloom," people crying that "the
sky is falling," "the doomsday crowd," and "religious pessimists." The truth
is, we believe the sky isn't falling but rather, it is going to open up and
in the twinkling of an eye, believers will be taken to be with the Lord.
