"EU and its current Status"

In reference to TJ's post yesterday http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/nov2005/tj118-2.htm

The EU is most certainly determined to realign and enforce NATO's leadership.  Currently things are lining up very prophetically there, especially in light of their new role in peacekeeping to send observers to the Rafah border in Israel.

Neither are they weakened or limited by the EU Constitution being voted down by French and Dutch.  The neocons here and the EU are "putting all their ducks in a row". The power and the unity will not be based upon the EU Constitution but upon a new Transatlantic Business group.

They have now changed their plans and have decided to look for the support of the world faction of national business owners. José Manuel Barroso, appointed president of the Commission thanks to George W. Bush after he organized the Summit of the Azores prior to the invasion of Iraq, was ordered to put the European Constitution aside and to readjust the mechanism. Thus, last week, Barroso announced the burial of the 70 legislative projects saying they are too complex and annoying for the public opinion. The truth is that the strategy has been changed: it is no longer about ruling under the authority of the Commission, but about dismantling what currently exists and transferring the making of the regulations to a transatlantic Regulation Forum controlled by the top chiefs of the Transatlantic Business Dialogue (TABD).

Likewise, the Presidential program by George W. Bush, "the Project for a New American Century" was disbanded and replaced with the American Committee for a "Strong Europe". This means that Europe will be able to do the work that U.S. troops have been currently doing.

Lest anyone think the people will not accept it. This article also indicates that they are going to seek the backing of Pope Benedict XVI, the Catholic Church, and the Episcopal leaders to convince them of what the political leaders have not been able to impose upon them.

I also find it interesting that according to this article, they [the neocons] are planning on getting rid of Dominique de Villepin. Does the current riots in France have anything to do with their plans?

One can merely speculate. However, the current riots across Europe, will most likely find their "scapegoat", and their ends will be accomplished.

Folks, we are "there". These things occurring daily in your news are highly prophetic.

Additionally, on the 27 and 28th of this month, the new European leader (Javier Solana)  will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of his 1995 Barcelona Process .  This article may be of interest to some of you.

I don't think I would say that the EU is NOT as powerful as people think. Things are lining up for them to take control of things globally very soon.
