THE CONFUSION OF DANIEL 2 AND DANIEL 7
Before considering the “four kings” of Daniel
7:17, as the alternative “true” interpretation of the “four
great beast” in Daniel 7:3, let’s outline the reason why there
is a conventional ‘dual interpretation’ of Daniel 2 and Daniel
7, there are similarities between the two visions and that may account for
the broad acceptance of this ‘dual interpretation’ however once
the true interpretation is exposed, a ‘fear of turning back’
comes into play and will be expounded on later.
The third "statue" empire of Daniel chapter 2, the brass thighs
of Greece, like the first empires “head of gold”, has also made
interpreters focus upon it, as it too provides a more credible argument
as ‘dually fulfilling’ the leopard of Daniel 7:6 because of
Alexander the Great's Grecian empires meteoric acquisition of territory
was like the speed of a leopard.
This is a ‘gross
misinterpretation’ of a misinterpretation connecting the
“brass thighs”, of Daniel 2 to Daniel 8:21, where the “misinterpreted”
have put Alexander as the "rough goat", however Daniel 8:17-19
clearly puts this vision at the ‘end of time’!
The final factor, and another ‘gross misinterpretation’
of a misinterpretation is in Daniel 7:17 where the angel interprets the
“great beasts” as “four kings” and this has been conveniently overlooked with the term FOUR
KINGDOMS being used as the ‘fact’ and that misinterpretation
was pursued again connecting the four "statue" kingdoms with the
four false "beast" kingdoms because both fourth kingdoms incorporated
the number ten, although the difference is ‘head and toes apart’!
In Daniel 2, the ten toes are on the feet of the iron legs,
of the “fourth Roman kingdom”. In the beast vision, the fourth
and final beast has ten
horns in his head (Daniel 7:20) and because the ten toes
are associated with the Roman Empire, that God crushed some time after Israel’s
destruction in 70AD.
THE ANTICHRIST DOES COME
It is still as a ‘matter
of fact’ taught and believed that the ten horns
on the fourth beast somehow represent a 'revived' Roman
empire. However the hard fact is the “ten horns” are the last
ten Presidents of the final world ‘super power’ the United States of America.
It is Daniel 2 and Daniel 7, along with passages in Revelation 6, 13 and 17, that have now made these misinterpretations ‘traditions of men’
believing the Roman empire will somehow be "revived" by the prophetic
figure we commonly call the antichrist.
The fourth beast
kingdom of Daniel 7 is plainly seen again in Daniel 8:8-9 to be the final world
‘super power’ the antichrist comes out of, it is crucial
that we accurately identify these four kings. In other words, if we think
these four beasts are kingdoms when they are actually Presidents, we will not recognize key prophetic events
because we won’t have a clue where to even begin. I contend that is
precisely what is occurring today, and very few even recognize this truth
and time is running out.
Daniel 2 is four kingdoms and
although the two visions were millennia apart and ARE
NOT reiterations of each other, THE
KEY to understanding them is the nation Israel and how the visions
relate to the Jewish people. The four kingdoms of Daniel 2 provide an historical countdown to the destruction
of the nation of Israel
in 70 AD.
While the “four kings” of Daniel 7:17 are ‘four
President’s’ who are bent on “dividing God’s land”
Israel,
by a series of treaties that again
will turn it over to the gentiles for destruction (Revelation 11:2).
In Daniel two’s ‘statue dream’, the fourth
kingdom was the empire that witnessed the coming of "him whose goings
forth has been from of old, from everlasting," Yeshua ha Machiach.
This “fourth kingdom”, the Roman Empire,
was the most powerful military and political confederation in antiquity.
The Romans were in power when Yeshua was born, they crucified our Lord,
witnessed his resurrection, then following his ascension and the birth of
“Christianity”, they almost obliterated, other than a small
remnant, the nation of Israel.
TWO VISIONS TWO COMINGS
The four kingdoms of the statue dream provided a countdown to the first appearance of Yeshua,
also providing us with a countdown to the destruction
of God's covenant people of Israel.
Conversely, instead of being simply a reiteration of those four kingdoms
as taught by most prophetic scholars, the four beast visions represent three President’s and their “subjugator”
that began their reign on January 20, 1993.
These four kings provide us with a prophetic countdown to
the resurrection of the dead in Messiah and the living believers with new resurrected bodies
at Yeshua’s return. It
is then that the Jewish people “look upon Him whom they have pierced”
and join the ‘resurrected saints’ in the millennial kingdom of Yeshua (Daniel 7:14)!
Following this line of interpretation, the first four statue kingdoms were
all manifested sequentially before the
‘first coming of Yeshua’ and the destruction of ancient
Israel in 70 AD, while the “three kings” and their subjugator
are and will be sequentially manifested before
Yeshua’s second coming.
DANIEL
7:17 IS TRUE
In Revelation 13:1-2
one can see an electoral system in place having ten kings, with the last
three having attributes of animals. The question here is; why were these
attributes in the beast empires of Daniel 2, misinterpreted
as the co-existent same empires
or more recent empires with a final “fourth” super power?
Here is a thought, unlike tradition that says these empires are Assyria,
Babylon, Greece and
Rome, or even possibly the more current empires of England,
Russia, Germany and the UN/US. What if Daniel 7:17 IS TRUE! That they are “four
kings”!
Daniel 7:17 These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall
arise out of the earth. My own personal belief is they are listed below!
-The Lion (Bill Clinton)
-The Bear (George W. Bush)
-The Leopard (Dick Cheney) - Dominion given to it: when the bear falls,
he will get dominion.
-The dreadful Fourth Beast (the subjugator of the three, Daniel 7:24)
DON’T STUB YOUR TOE ON THE “TEN
TOES” YOU WILL STUMBLE
What I am saying is the traditional Prophecy teachers are wrong, though
there are similarities in Daniel 2 and Daniel 7, the hard fact is, these 4 kings have been interpreted as beasts and the
10 horns have been interpreted as kingdoms and not kings, this
is where the “stumbling blocks” materialized from!
The important thing to remember is that “the
truth” came in verse 16 and said “These great beasts,
which are four, are four kings
that shall arise out of the earth”(Dan 7:17).
This ten king system is mentioned in Revelation and in the book of the Daniel.
The traditional thought is that this will be a “revived Roman
Empire”. This view does not stand
up when scrutinized closely. This comes from a traditional teaching
that the ten toes of Daniel 2 correspond to the ten kings of Daniel 7 and
Revelation 13.
Daniel 2 DOES NOT TELL of any revived Roman Empire but speaks of the empire
of Rome that was in power when Yeshua arrived and began his ministry to set up the Kingdom Of God. The Daniel 7 interpretation is clear in that it is in
the days following these ten kings, with emphasis that after
the last three God will set up his millennial kingdom.
THE STUMBLING BLOCK OF DANIEL 2 KEEPS
AMERICA HIDDEN
In fact if there is any empire that seems to fill the parameters set down
by Daniel it is the Greek Empire. Remember the “four notable ones”
who come up ‘in the latter time’
are Grecian, with the “little horn” subduing three
of them. Whose “fourth kingdom” is diminished in power (Revelation
17:16-17) and becomes a non factor in the final days as the antichrist ascends.
Daniel 8:23 And ‘in the latter time’
of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full
(when the last of 10 Presidents expires), a king of fierce countenance,
and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
If we take a close look at Daniel 8, one can see that he is not speaking
of Rome but Greece/USA.
For I believe the verses before this describe in detail, the presidency
of George Bush Sr., his ‘Desert Storm’ invasion, his political
defeat to Clinton-Gore (Daniel 8:8) with Bush-Cheney receiving their kingdom.
It is Greece, not the Rome of Daniel 2, that “in the latter time of
THEIR kingdom”, these ‘three kings’ arrive on the scene,
describing the person and work of the antichrist, that work being his “subjugation” of the last three of ten
Presidents’(Daniel 7:24).
If there is any revival here, it is a revival of a Greek civilization, the
civilization that brought us democracy and our western culture along with
the “Mother of harlots”, the Grecian goddess Athena, who sits
on our Capitol dome!
However, the end time’s system of ten successive kings/presidents
is clear in Revelation 13:1 and 17:7-18. It
IS NOT the ten toes that Daniel 2 spoke of, nor is it as falsely interpreted,
“a revived Roman Empire”, now taken to be the New European Union,
already having 15 members and ready to add ten more, expanding the number
25. This should show any reasonable person
that this interpretation is spurious and needs to be re-examined.
PRIDE AND THE POWER OF MONEY COVER THE
TRUTH
God is not confused, but many so-called prophecy writers and teachers are.
However it is GOD’S WISDOM in Revelation 17:9 that destroys every
prophecy book written and teaching spoken since the early 1970’s,
it says “Here is a mind that has wisdom.
The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.
Yet so many simply continue to believe
and hold on to a “30+ year old embarrassment” as unerring fact!
What is it that causes these teachers to pursue this “false teaching”?
These men, who invariably are part of America's multi-billion dollar religion business,
are pointing the world’s remnant
believers in the wrong direction of looking for kingdoms when
they should be LOOKING FOR KINGS! However the hard fact is they can’t
or won’t turn back. They would have to seek forgiveness for the “filthy
lucre” of charging money for all their books, tapes and etc. that
they have fleeced their sheep with. Pride
is a strong sin; FEW IF ANY, will take a chance of the financial
backlash coming against them!
Daniel 7:7-28, The ten horns are in the beasts head, a clear difference inferred from the ten toes of Daniel 2 which
are toes located on the feet of the image.
Here we can also see that the beast overcomes and prevails against the saints
of God until Yeshua returns (Daniel 7:9-11,14), also notice carefully that
the wording is quite different here, than in Daniel 2, where God set up
his kingdom (Yeshua’s ministry in Daniel 2:44-45) in the days of the
“ten toes”.
A GODLY
HEAVENLY KINGDOM COMES
However has noted in
Daniel 7 we notice that the saints actually have been given the kingdom
of the Beast and the power of judgment. The old beast in Daniel 2 was actually
destroyed by God; another very important point is that these beasts in Daniel
7 are future as Daniel 7:17 clearly states. This
point alone throws many traditional interpretations out the window.
The fact that the ten horns on the head of the beast lines up with the “ten
crowns” of Revelation 13, as to location on the head, tells us that
before Yeshua returns this ten-king/horned system as the final form of a secular satanic influenced ‘by
subjugation’ government will be relegated to the short
lived “eighth kingdom” the antichrist will reign over.
Let us not forget Revelation 17:17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto
the beast, until the words of God shall
be fulfilled.
