We believe we are ready as our minds do
a checklist one last time.
It has nothing to do with
"something old, something new, something borrowed,
something blue."
We as His know this and reflect...Have I
anything left undone that my Bridegroom shall be ashamed?
Did I wrinkle my clothing as I fussed over the "getting to this day"
process?  Will He smile that smile that will melt our hearts?
Will we in our beauty take His breath away?
We did... the moment we cried from the womb of comfort
beneath our mothers' hearts. He looks upon us in last inspection
telling us, "PEACE, BE STILL."... and we fuss and worry.
He approaches across the crystal sea that is before the Throne of
His Universe. He comes lit by His own glory, not that of any celestial orb.
We see him approach and are afraid in our iniquity. Are we worthy?
The waves pick up and are taunting...still he approaches.
It is a Ghost! As Peter so long ago began...
No it is THE LORD-OUR BRIDEGROOM!
Lord tell us to come out of the boat of this world to approach you upon the waters, we cry out!
And He says again, as He did so long ago to his beloved ones....with the same
outstretched hand that healed the multitudes...

 ....COME!!!
