Thank you so much for writing to fivedoves and letting us know what your friend is going through! Your friend is not demon possessed but is on the threshold. Satan reminds us of hurts and grievences and our past. Your friend is aware that this is happening to him and prays out to JESUS TO HELP. The reason he is coming under attack is that he MUST BE BORN AGAIN AND HE IS NOT. THE DEVIL CAN NOT GAIN ENTRANCE WHERE THE HOLY SPIRIT DWELLS. This is why he keeps coming under attack. Tell him he needs to be born again in the Spirit. He needs to invite JESUS/YESHUA into his heart! OUR BEAUTIFUL LORD AND SAVIOR WILL NOT SHARE SPACE WITH ANYONE OR ANYTHING! This is what you need to have him say from his heart...

.Dear Jesus, I believe that you are the only begotten son of Our Father in Heaven, I believe you are God made man and that you died for my sins and rose again to life on the third day. Forgive my iniqities and all that I have done to sin against you! Come into my heart and live there, showing me what your will for my life shall be. I ask this in your name Jesus Christ, Amen.

Once he is Born again he will have the peace of THE HOLY SPIRIT  dwelling inside of him. Satan will still jab and torment from a distance but will not be able to possess.  When Satan reminds us of past hurts we need to remind him of his future!
He has the lake of fire to look forward to.(A wise friend told me this recently) Again, when you are a born again Christian, as long as you stay "IN CHRIST" following his will for your life---there can only be possession from him. Satan will never give up, but the power of JESUS/YESHUA is stronger than anything that exists. Keep an eye on him and pray with him.
