What a downer that was, Wes K.I think Job 12: 10, King James Version
will give you a better picture
of this question of our pets' souls."In whose hand is the soul of
every living thing and the breath
of all mankind".. notice He separates
"all living things" from 'Mankind'~~~
to encompass OTHER parts of His creation..In Romans we have the scripture
that all creation awaits
redemption... that means the
animals, birds, nature. There are other verses
relating to the importance to God,
of the animal kingdom. Why would a God who rejects animals
make so many variations and in such
beautiful forms and images:
the deer, the Koala bear, the lion, tiger,
the cat, the faithful dog. Some dogs I
have known have more compassion and
love and spirit than innumerable humans
that I have had the misfortune to
either know or read about in the
headlines. There are animals in the Millennium.
There are horses in Heaven.
Jesus is the Lion, the Lamb.
We are the Sheep.
He cares about animals.
His symbolism for humans is that we
are like sheep gone astray.
The lost sheep is dear to Him.
We shall mount up like Eagles.
He even mentions the spider spinning
her webIn one verse he says that a righteous
man cares for his beast. How about 2 Samuel 12:3?
"The lamb was
unto him as a daughter."I hope your post about animals going
DOWN while humans go UP, isn't
discouraging to all animal lovers who
read this.My cat's name is Destiny. And she is
destined to be with me for all eternity.
