Isn't it absolutely incredible that the EU decided to build their parliament building in the form of the tower of babel???  Of ALL the shapes they could have chosen, and they chose this....amazing...prophetic.
 
 
You can see it from space. A few months ago Five Doves had a link to an incredible site to see almost anything on earth from space.  It's a program you download at:  www.earth.google.com
 
Download this file and it sets up an icon on your desktop.  Then, enter Strasburg, France.  Zoom in on the city and the main.  There are two smaller rivers going east (to the left) coming off the main, larger river.  Go east on the northern one, on the upper part of the screen.  The building can be seen at the intersection of another river going south.  It's a huge white building on the left of that river intersection.  Zoom in, tilt the camera for a good angle, and you can see the "Tower" as it is known.  It is an incomplete (but fully complete) replica of the tower of babel as you have seen in paintings and posters.  Incredible.
 
By the way, this google.earth program is one of the few captivating online sites for me.  I am a pilot and I can literally relive trips from point to point all over the United States.  Have fun....YFIC, Randy
