Hi, Doves!
Please ask the Spirit to lead you in prayer for me for a VERY difficult decision I have to make about my job. Thanks much, and I'll go into more detail when I'm not having to work 12 days in a row without a day off!!!

Peggy,
6 days thou shalt work, and the 7th day REST!!!
If your employer requires more than that, then I would question whether you should even be there, unless there is an extreme emergency. And if there is an extreme emergency, God will grant you the necessary extra "steam" to keep going. But short of an extreme emergency situation this doesn't sound biblical at all.
Remember for guidance the 3 lights must light up "green" (like a traffic signal):
1) The thing you think God wants you to do is "biblical".....or at least does not conflict with the clear teachings of the bible.
2) Next look at your circumstances: What are they telling you? What doors are open and what doors are closed? God will give us signs through doors that suddenly swing open or suddenly swing shut.
3) And finally, PEACE is the final Umpire! Do you feel peace in your spirit when proceeding with a particular course of action or are you troubled in your spirit? Follow the PEACE! God's PEACE is unmistakable even in the midst of the storm.....against all odds.....if the PEACE is there when "logic" says to do something else.....chuck it all and FOLLOW THE PEACE!!!!
If ALL 3 of the above are "green lights", then go with it, even if it means venturing out into unchartered terrorities. God will be with you! Remember Abraham! Logic said "stay put" continue the business in Ur. But God called Abraham out of Ur....flying right in the face of traditional "logic" and conventional wisdom.
If you are still uncertain, "fleece" your decision. If God is asking you to go out on a limb......He will certainly answer your "fleece"!
