I first posted this here on the Doves about 7 years ago, I believe:
 
 

Anti-Christ Revealed

And Jesus answered them and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive
you. For many will come in my name saying,I am Christ; and shall deceive
many.

Matthew 24:4,5

Now, we can surmise that at this point in prophetic history that the whole
world....including the foolish virgins (the unwise Laodicean Church), is in
strong delusion and that they believe a lie.

Listen to what Paul is saying:

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and by
our gathering together unto him (the rapture of the Bride).

That you be not soon shaken in mind or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor
by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day (of the catching away) of
Christ is at hand.

2 Thess. 2:1,2

Read back over this verse. Paul is saying that brothers and sisters, just
like us, were already speculating on the time of the Lord's return!

What did he have to say about it? Right here in the next verse he tells them
and us what would happen BEFORE Jesus comes back to get us:

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the catching away)
shall not come EXCEPT there come a falling away first (apostacy) AND that
man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2 Thess 2:3
 

ORDER OF EVENTS:

1. a falling away first
2. that man of sin revealed
3. the day of Christ
 

Now, most everyone of us would agree that we have seen and are seeing the
falling away. This is not a falling away from going to church - many of the
churches are packed - but a falling away from the FAITH. The falling away
from the TRUTH - leaving their FIRST LOVE- JESUS.

Did you notice that in conjuction with this statement is another statement,
all in the same sentence? The anti-christ WILL BE REVEALED before the
rapture!

Even him, whose coming is after the working of satan with all power and
signs and lying wonders.

2 Thess. 2:9

In other words, you will see him on the scene after you see the psychics,
apparitions and the occult come out and rise in influence - the FALSE
ANNOINTING of satan.

And now you know what withholds that he might be revealed in his time.

2 Thess. 2:6

This is why we see the false annointing because the Holy Spirit has lifted
in the measure that He was here restraining the forces of the evil one. We,
as a nation and the rest of the world, have rejected the Bible and the
counsel of God and have been turned over to our own lusts and lying spirits.
The vacuum that has been created by the famine of the Word of God and the
lifting of the Holy Spirit is filled by satan and his demonic hoard.

Remember, the world and most of the church, is under strong delusion. The
anti-christ is not the declared world leader - yet. Earth shaking events
have to happen for this to take place. They are even now in progress. I
believe when he confirms the covenant (after the rapture), is when most of
the church will know who he is and when he makes the whole world take his
mark is when the rest will know.

Many of you have been taught (like I was), that we will not know who the
anti-christ is because we won't be here when he confirms the covenant and no
one can know who he is until we (the Bride) are gone. This is NOT what the
Bible says....that is NOT what Paul is saying. He is saying THE BRIDE WILL
KNOW!
