"Dream"

Dear John and Doves,

On a Thursday night or rather early Friday morning (11th of November, 2005) I had a dream in the early hour of  the morning.

I dreamt I was sitting on the floor leaning against a couch or small maybe twin bed.  Next to me on my right were a group of people all asleep on the floor.  I thought I should pray for them and started to pray.  (The thought came to me that I should probably get on my knees but then I further thought that Jesus accepts our prayers in whatever position we are in.)  I had no idea what I was praying for but suddenly found myself go into a grieving and travailing prayer.  I sobbed and cried before the Lord praying in the Spirit.

Suddenly I woke up and it was daylight.  The heaviness and travailing were still heavy on my heart like I had been crying.  It took me a minute to realize that my crying was all in the dream and not in my waking hour.  Slowly the memory of my dream came back to me.

As I thought and prayed about the dream further over the next few days I came to this interpretation.

The coming of the Lord is very, VERY, VERY SOON!  The people lying on the floor next to me were sleeping unaware of His coming and I felt the grieving of the Lord over His loved ones who were  found  “sleeping.”  Mark 13:36

“And take heed to yourselves, lest at anytime your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

“For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”   Luke 21:34-36.

“For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.

“ In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.

“For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.

“Thou has set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.

“For all our days are passed away in thy wrath; we spend our years as a tale that is told.”

   Psalm 90:4-9

These are the scriptures it seemed that the Lord gave to me.

In Jesus,
