"Maytreya's original identity"

Doves,

I oddly found myself listening to Maytreya (the one whom Benjamin Creme
promotes), one individual that many have named as a possible candidate for
the False Messiah or False Prophet.  Or at least, he seems to want the job
of the False Messiah anyway, even if he's not going to end up being the guy.
I heard him answer some questions from those who didn't believe in him, one
being where his name came from.

He said "Maytreya" was a name that others gave him, not one he picked.
Apparently from Hindus.  He said his birth name was Mohammed, and he made
some comments that sounded like he grew up Moslem.  He was talking about the
Isalmic view of things and discussed it in the "we" while mentioning his
childhood.  He also said the name he gave himself was "Jalalolah", whatever
that means.  Anybody heard any more about his background?
