Palestinians in Syria / Grief marches

Damascus, Nov.11 (SANA)

Thousands of Palestinians residing in Damascus’ camps of Yarmouk and Palestine marched on Thursday expressing grief over the demise of the Palestinian National Authority President Yasser Arafat.

The participants in the march raised pictures of PNA President Arafat and national flags condemning Israel and holding it responsible for the painful condition Arafat has reached to as a result of the unfair siege he was forced in.

They stressed the unity of the Palestinian people and their steadfastness in the face of the Israeli bids to target and plunder their legitimate rights.
