Being a radical kind of guy, I want to do something really radical, for Jesus' sake.
Miracle of miracles! Somehow a Christian brother in India discovered my new book, THE POWER! on the Internet, was touched by it, downloaded it, and later contacted me and asked for permission to translate, print, and distribute the book to his countrymen in their language. Eager to get the Word out in every way possible, I granted the permission and I also waived any royalties or commissions for myself.
Because of that, I want to make the same non-exclusive offer to those in other countries who may want to do the same thing for their people, in their language, as a ministry.
If interested, you can find a commercial publisher to do it and take on the distribution responsibility, or you can self-publish it and distribute it yourself. Any income received is totally yours to reimburse your costs, or to support your ministry or yourself.
I hereby waive all royalties, commissions, or any other income from this effort.
The only conditions:
Anyone, anywhere, who receives this email and agrees to the above conditions can consider it as blanket permission. However, if he or she will contact me and indicate serious intent, I will forward an airmail postal letter with signed permission.
- Make sure the translator is able to translate accurately so as to not obscure meaning.
- Send me information on who you are, with name, background, address, telephone number, and plans, including language planned.
- The book be printed without modification or alteration. No additions or deletions.
- The typographical styling and cover of the original book will be emulated as much as possible.
- Include this statement on the copyright page: "Special permission has been granted from the author to translate, reproduce, and distribute this book."
- Send me a copy of the finished book.
- Keep me informed of progress.
