Written by those present at a a Druid/Druid-Christian/Christian Rite at the temple, with Druids from England, Scotland, Wales and the USA. The rite took place on 19 July 2003This ritual was organized by Bill Melnyk (Oakwyse) for which we give him thanks. For all those who have offered their reflections of the rite here, we also give thanks, and once again to Bill for putting them together with the skills of a natural Bard.
 
  (The Lord said, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."  The apostle Paul also said in 1 Corinithian 10:21, "Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table and of the table of devils."  No Christian can be part of a Druid-Christian rite because it would not be Christian.  Christianity cannot be mixed with another religion or involve another god.  The Lord Jesus Christ shed his blood and died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins, and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness.  No other god shed his blood and died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins, and the blood of no other god cleanses from all unrighteousness.)
