Shalom Donna and All:Thank you Donna for the 250 A.D. information. By this time the Truth of the
Blood Covenant through Yeshua was a faint memory getting fainter as sucessive
Gentile scholarship took over. Here's a link to a book, Children of the
Promise, by Robert R. Booth, that is helpful in understanding that:

The issue of babies "not knowing" what is happening to them is exactly what
happens to the little male babies at circumsision into the Blood Covenant..
The parents are to educate and train the child in that Blood Covenant. Never
in Jewish thinking is one entered into the Covenant because of sin! Our
children are of our household and as I read The Word The Father deals with
households.I have thought long and hard as to why/how it was that the physical body
cutting "sign" of just the male to enter the Covenant - after Yeshua's return
to The Father - could done by "washing/baptising".My ancestors come from the cold climes of Germany and probably heard The Word
after 250 A.D.. If entrance into the Blood Covenant required x-number of
gallons of water applied in a particular manner then one would have to wait
for perfect health and summer weather. The Father knows my heart. It is His Son Yeshua who made that Blood Covenant
for me and family. For that I and household will be eternally grateful.Dianne
