When Jesus came the first time; the Jewish people (on the whole) missed it completely. From the priests on down, they missed “seeing the messiah” because they all had certain perceived ideas as to what the messiah would be like and what He would do.

They got these “ideas” from the priests and other leaders who had read Torah and other writings and formed certain ideas concerning the coming messiah. They told the people what He would do and how He would do it. From their teachings, came the perceived ideas concerning messiah.

The people had their messiah in a special box that had been created from the minds of the priests and leaders. They knew what to expect and what to look for. They had been taught well. The ideas were firm in their heads. It had to be as they were taught seeing that it came to them from the priests and leaders. They trusted the interpretations of the priests and leaders.

Now, flash forward to our own times. We have our books, TV, tapes, CDs, internet, and DVDs with all the info concerning what will happen and how it will happen. We have all the different ways that it might happen from different people who we trust are right. We have our own special Web Forum for our own particular way how we think it will happen.

We are being (might be) set up as the Jews were at His first coming. If things don’t happen as we believe that it will happen then we too will miss out on the real plan.

If God would send judgment to the U.S.A. and let some pagan nation do His bidding and we were not raptured then our dear believed plan would have failed us and we would be at a loss. We would say “Is God real, is the Bible real?” what is going on?; all is lost. Many would lose faith and would miss Jesus.

We must look at everything that is happening and continue to ask God/Holy Spirit what it means. The Jews in WWII in Germany were in the same lot. They did not know what was going on. They were looking for messiah and they got a Hitler. Instead of receiving messiah they received death.

We must keep close to God and remain there no matter what His real plan is for the end-times. If God say to do something, we better be ready to do it. He might say to you in the night hours to get up and leave and go to some place.  If Joseph did not get up and go to Egypt then baby Jesus would have been killed.

This is not a time to be deceived by our own perceived ideas or those of others. There is no one that really knows except God.
