"Unlocking Book of Revelation through Scriptures"

Thanks Fay, Gino and Donna for your responses. Thanks Steve W for connecting with me offline and sharing your feedback. Much appreciated.

Will share more details in this article. This will be a longer one but hope would be interesting and revealing some hidden secrets.

Before starting, I would like to admit that I may be wrong with some of the interpretations. But still this could give a different perspective of book of Revelation than how it is understood usually.

There are two keys to unlock prophecies. They are,
1. 2 Peter 1:20-21 - No prophecy is of private interpretation and prophecy was written by holy men of God through divine inspiration. In other words, prophecy doesn't mean what they talk about. For example, consider the verse, Ecclesiastes 11:1, it says Cast they bread upon the waters and you shall find it after many days. Here it doesn't literally mean the bread and water. Bread means the food for the soul and Waters is interpreted as people as per Revelation 17:15. So the overall interpretation will be, give the word of truth to the multitude and and then it will benefit after long time, in heaven.

2. Ecclesiastes 3:15 - That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past. So, whatever already happened will happen again but in some other way. For example, Hosea 11:1 says "I called my son out of Egypt." People who read this during that time would understand this as the Exodus of Israelites from Egypt through Moses. But Matthew 2:15 says it also fulfilled when Jesus was brought back from Egypt. It also gets fulfilled when each believer was brought to Christ from spiritual Egypt, the World.

Now with these key verses, if we interpret prophecies through other scriptures, we see totally a different perspective.

Now, getting back to the Book of Revelation, the Spirit of God was asking me, many out there think that the Revelation chapter 6 through 19 will only happen in last 7 years or 3.5 years but do you think that there is no message for the Church in it for 2000 years/. Then the Spirit interpreted that the last 3.5 years also covered but just not that alone. Then I got the understanding that the 2nd and 3rd chapters are the keys to unlock revelation. The 2nd and 3rd chapters describes 7 churches and but indicates 7 church ages. The following 7 seals and 7 trumpets represent the events happen during these 7 church ages. But the final 7 bowls of judgement will happen during 7th church age. A shadow of 7 days of circling Jericho, each day they have to blow trumpet. So, 7 days shadow of 7 seals and 7 trumpets during 7 church periods. But, 7 circles on 7th day represent, 7 bowls on 7th church age. God willing, I will write more about this in the coming weeks.

More on the mark of the beast. Even I too thought that would be a literal mark using a chip or RFID and technology. It is common understanding that most us have.

But I have the following questions in that interpretation and these questions are open,

1. We see another mark in Revelation itself, the mark or seal of God in Revelation 7 where the angels will seal the people of God with a mark on their foreheads. If mark of the beast is literal implementation in foreheads, will the mark of God also be literal with angels coming in and marking every saint, obviously No. The seal of God is nothing but the seal of the Holy Spirit as mentioned in Ephesians 1:13 which is spiritual. What is that mark ? The seal (mark) is the Word of God as per Isaiah 8:16 - Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

An Amazing connection with forehead and right hand can be found in Deuteronomy 6:8 and Exodus  where the Lord command the Israelites to bind the law in their hands and between their eyes (Fore head). The scripture interprets itself. Usually we search web to find answers but the scriptures at other places hold these hidden keys. So the mark of the beast also should be the thoughts and actions towards false doctrine that serves the devil.

2.  In Revelation 20:4, we read there are thrones and those who have the Judgemental authority sat on it and they were the ones who were resurrected from dead and ruling for millennium. These were the people who haven't taken the mark. So will this cover only those people who just live during the great trib? No, it covers the disciples for 2000 years but they too haven't taken the mark and got victory over the mark and the beast. So, the mark of the beast sounds more spiritual than literal.

3. Having the mark of the beast means having allegiance to the devil in same way that having spiritual mark is having allegiance with God. How taking a literal mark or technology impact a person's spiritual connection with God. Will taking a mark openly pledges that the ones who take it serve satan? Lot of skepticism around this point. But if you take it as spiritual, then it makes more sense.

4. I personally don't think it is possible to enforce such system to have global digital IDs in forehead and right hand through out the earth for at least next 15 - 20 years. So the timelines that we are looking for wouldn't work with this mark. That is not practical too.

5. The mark of the beast is associated with the number which is 666 and that number is associated with a name. The name is vicarivs filii dei (vicar of the son of God) which is blasphemous when applied to any person other than Christ.

6. Donna had a valid point. Can also answer about buying and selling with the mark. That too turns to a divine meaning. Proverbs 23:23 says Buy the truth and do not sell it. So cannot buy and sell without the mark means, during the dark ages of Papacy, the Bible was bound and even to hear a little scripture, we need to be having the mark of papacy. It is a transaction of truth and not goods/services. This is the famine of the Word of God mentioned in Amos 8.

To understand AntiChrist in Revelation, we need to connect with the book of Daniel. Daniel 7 interprets that the four beasts are the four kingdoms which means the beast of Revelation 13:1 is also a kingdom. It has the description of Lion, Bear and Leopard, the exact descriptions of the first 3 beasts of Daniel meaning the great beast emerges from the fourth kingdom, the Roman empire and it is the Holy Roman Empire or the Roman Catholic. It is the same as that of the feet of the statue that Nebuchadnezzar saw. Iron stands for Rome and Clay stands for Catholic. A mixture of politics and religion.

Ten horns of fourth beast and ten toes of statue represent ten Germanic tribes and after that little horn of papacy came to power. The pope ordered to eliminate 3 of the tribes as prophesied in Daniel 7. If I remember correctly, the three tribes are Ostrogoths, Heruli and Vandals. These are all church history. You may browse it.

Revelation 13 says, the beast was fatally wounded. Papacy was wounded when Napolean arrested pope and put him in prison and he died an year later. Then that wound was healed during WW1 and it came back to power. It has the blasphemous name. It ruled for 42 months or 1260 years from 539 to 1799 AD.  They tortured the true believers of God, arrested them and killed them saying that is the law of Word of God. But, pope himself got arrested and later died. That was what prophesied in Revelation 13, One who arrests will get arrested, one who kills by sword will be killed by Sword. One who has ears to hear, let him hear.

The two horns represent the Beast and the False Prophet. Beast means Political power and False Prophet means Religious power through which the powerful prince of air, satan rules this World. That is the satanic trinity - dragon, beast and false prophet.

I know this interpretation is very difficult to take since most of us including myself took the prophecies in literal sense. So it is hard to think it this way. But what if it is true ? Need to unlearn what we understood first and then look at it with a different perspective. Having said that, I would still admit that I may be wrong. But there are lot of strong supporting scripture evidences for this view.

Think I wrote a lot. Hope this at least gave a different way to look at the prophecies. Will share more.
In Christ,
Issac.
