THIS IS AN 'ADDENDUM' TO MY PREVIOUS POST ON ''FEAST TRENDS''.
 
 
ADDENDUM. ONE THEME OF BOOK OF HEBREWS IS THAT OF ''CROSSING OVER'' OR ''ENTERING IN''........TO ANOTHER DIMENSION.
 
 JESUS HAS BEEN THE 'FORERUNNER' , HAVING ALREADY ENTERED.
 
WHY DOES PAUL/ IN THE BOOK OF HEBREWS ch 12/ BRING UP EVENTS OF PENTECOST OF EXODUS 19 AND THEN COMPARE IT TO WHAT IS AHEAD FOR US?.............IE 'BUT WE ARE COME........THAT IS COME.........TO THE HEAVENLY JERUSALEM''..........AND IN CONTEXT THAT IS COMPARED TO WHAT ISRAELITES IN OT 'CAME' TO ON PENTECOST!
 
As indicated in my prior post, all 3 themes of Passover have been fulfilled.......Bondage, Freedom, Glorification.
 
For Pentecost we have seen the first 2 of the 3 themes fulfilled............Bondage, Freedom. The only theme Of Pentecost yet to be fulfilled is Glorification.
 
And again I point out, if the waving action by the Priest on Day of Firstfruits pictured the resurrection and rapture of Jesus to heaven, (and it did!), then..........the Same Waving Action by the Priest of the 2 Loaves of Bread on Pentecost MUST represent the Same 'theme'..........but for another group other than Jesus.
 
Pentecost might very well represent the End of the Barley Harvest and the Beginning of the Wheat Harvest. Ruth was with Boaz the night of Pentecost according to Jewish tradition.....but.........nobody knew it! ''let no one know you have come down to the floor''........said Boaz to Ruth.
