Pineman,I have enjoyed your last two posts and what the writers of those posts had to say concerning the so called end times wars. Those being Psalms 83, Isaiah 17, Ezek.38 and 39 and the Battle of Armageddon. Most biblical authors and TV hosts agree with the sequence as I just listed them. They go with this lineup as the accepted norm. And as one of your writers put it....they seem to be........ parroting the parrot.Obviously you are not one of the parrots or you would not have brought these articles to the attention of the Doves. For what it's worth you can add me to your column of non believers. I don't believe all these wars are going to happen or could be fitted into the available time we have left. I see them as "previews of coming attractions" or "previews of the happenings in the big one".........or Armageddon. Meaning that all these descriptions will be encompassed in the war of Armageddon. What did Jesus have to say about this........In Matt.24 verse 6 He was talking to Jews concerning Jews in the end times and He said......."And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled"......Isn't that what's happening now, we are "hearing" about all these wars that people have proposed might happen after they read a passage of scripture like Psalms 83 or Isaiah 17 and then all of a sudden it's poured in concrete that those are wars and they will happen. What did Jesus call them?......rumorsIt appears to me at some point later in the tribulation period that all of these scripture passages will fall under one great war where God himself intervenes on Israel' behalf. The descriptions of which show up in many parts of scripture but primarily Ezek.38 and 39.God leads Gog and the accompanying armies to to the mountains of Israel......"I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out"........There God causes a great earthquake to happen. The assembled armies will turn on each other and God will also destroy them by flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. And also they will be destroyed by the pure light energy of God himself for he says in Ezek.38:18 ..."that My fury will show in My face"........No one looks at the face of God.But that's not all, the battle isn't limited to the mountains of Israel, for it says in verse 6 of Ezek.39 ...."And I (God) will send fire on (the lands of) Magog and on those who live in security in the coastlands".......How does God send this fire that destroys the lands of Magog and to those lands where certain people live "in the security of the coastlands"?If you have followed any of my recent posts to Doves you'll know that I have written extensively on God's end times army. This army shows up in the chapter before in Ezek.37. It's an army of two hundred million resurrected Jews from the lineage of Jacob that have lived throughout the centuries. We find out in Rev.9 that they ride fire breathing horses and are tasked to kill two billion people by fire, smoke and brimstone.Wouldn't logic tell us that this army (by fire) is what God will use to destroy the lands of Magog and the people living in the security of the coastlines as described in Ezek. 39:6? "And I (God) will send fire on (the lands of) Magog and on those who live in security in the coastlands".......Enough for today......Pineman, I am glad that you chose to post those alternative views concerning the end times war or wars. They make great food for thought and I for one agree with Ray Gano who wrote the article on the "Prophezine" web site and feel that we will be looking at only one major end time war.Blessings..........John B
