"RE: Marilyn: 05.14.13"

Marilyn,

             You had written:

The son of God is the YHWH that sat on the sapphire pavement (meaning heaven) at Mt. Sinai

I also believe that Jesus is Jehovah.

The Father is invisible:

John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

John 5:37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

John 6:46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

I Timothy 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

I Timothy 6:16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

I John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

So, whenever anyone saw the LORD, they saw the Son, who can be seen, because he is the visible image of the invisible Father:

II Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Hebrews 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

That is why Jesus could say the following:

John 14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

There are not three different Gods, with one God visible & another God invisible.

He is the same Jehovah. Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. He is one God. He is one LORD. He is one Spirit. He is one Jehovah.

From John 4:24 we know that God is a Spirit.

So if that is the very nature and essence of the Father, that he is a Spirit, that leads to a question.

If there were three different beings, each a Spirit, then which one would be the Holy Spirit?

Only the one that is called the Holy Spirit?

That would then imply that the Spirit that is the Father, wouldn’t be a Holy Spirit, which would be ludicrous.

No, it is one Spirit, the Spirit of the LORD, which is a Holy Spirit, and he is Jehovah.

This is seen as follows:

Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

This one and the same Spirit is the same as the Spirit of the Father, while yet at the same time he is the Spirit of Christ.

However, Jehovah is only visible as the Son.

One time, the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape “like” a dove.

However, that doesn’t mean that the Spirit is a separate, physical entity from the Son.

It doesn’t mean that the Spirit is always visible, either.

It also doesn’t mean that the Spirit “is” a dove - No! the LORD is not a bird!

An omnipresent Spirit, that fills heaven and earth, and dwells in the heart of born again believers, is not a bird.

Jehovah is only really visible as the Son.

So that is why I agree with you that it was the Son that was seen on Mount Sinai.

It was the Son who appeared to Abraham, along with the two angels who later went to Sodom to rescue Lot.

For the same reason, I believe that it was the Son who walked in the garden with Adam.

What do you think Marilyn?

Does this make sense?

Am I way off, or would you consider that I’m an heretic?
