Could this be it?  I'm not declaring it so.  I really don't know.

Daniel 9:27 reads differently depending on which translation it is:
"Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.  And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate.  Even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out of the desolate."  NKJV

The President made this announcement from the White House briefing room, which is located in the west wing.  (And on the wing)
Notice also the word consummation.  Is not marriage consummated by the sex act?  Would not gay marriage be the ultimate abomination?
