I have been a "lurker for almost a year and have never posted, although there were many times I wanted to jump in.  Today's post on The Noise caught my attention. I live in Western NY and a couple of times this week on two different mornings I heard a noise that I thought might have been thunder or , of course, the idea of a small quake. Short lived, but, alarming. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this?
