they don’t have copies at my library they ordered copies but don’t have them yet. next few months are a bit tight in the money department but if we are here in the fall maybe I can get it then. I have read stories about this boy. I was actually searching my library for this book when I found the Alcorn book.

Hello, John and Doves,
Brother Paul, have you read the wonderful book,

Heaven is for Real: A Little Boy's Astounding Story of His Trip to Heaven and Back,

by Todd Burpo, with Lynn Vincent?
I have read it, and I have bought several copies that I have given to friends.
It is a reliably true story, which my home congregation was encouraged to buy by my pastor, Ray Bentley, of Maranatha Chapel in San Diego, California.

"a book for kids about heaven"

I just finished a book called “Heaven for Kids” by Randy Alcorn and I would recommend it to parents and Sunday school groups. While it uses the NLT bible for it’s verses (should have used the NKJV or NASB which are literal and modern words) it does convey things so kids will understand. I liked his other book “Heaven” which is for adults and would be good for teens to read.
He mentions that while not sure sleep might happen up there. (It isn't sinful to sleep so it would depend on if our bodies need it still. Adam probably slept in Eden and we are not told if Jesus slept after the resurrection but being man and God it might be different for him than us.) If we do the dogs will have to take turns sleeping with me I won’t have a bed big enough for them and me.
