"Rowina and Doves : Yes, we are to pray always for deliverance"
John, Rowina ( Mariel ) and Doves,
We agree with you that to pray for deliverance from these evil times is
a righteous and good thing to do, and is even commanded by our Lord.
"Watch ye therefore, and pray ALWAYS, that ye may be accounted worthy
to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before
the Son of man."
Jesus tells us in Matthew 24 that End Time events would be unprecedented in all of history Matthew 24: 21.
That means it will surpass all the horrors of Nazism, Communism and any other ism in history that was brutal.
It is so horrible that Jesus uses the words "flee" ( Matthew 24:16 - 19 ).
He warns us that we are without excuse for being here at that time, for we --His Bride --have been forewarned.
We, as the Bride of Christ, "flee" by being caught up in the Rapture before this whole world is ensnared.
Our Redeemer and Bridegroom will rescue us as He has promised.
2 Thessalonians 5: 9 tells us :
"For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation ( being saved, rescued ) by our Lord Jesus Christ."
The day that the whole world comes under God's wrath, is the same day as our deliverance :
2 Thessalonians 1: 7, 8
"And to you who are troubled, rest with us WHEN the Lord Jesus shall be
revealed from heaven with His mighty angels ( at the time of our
"In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ."
SAME DAY -- Luke 17:29
"But the SAME DAY that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all."
So Rowina, you are righteous to pray to be delivered. And He WILL deliver us from the wrath to come.
Let those promises give you a peace that the world doesn't give us, nor can it take away from us.
