We are grateful to Barack Hussein Obama for faithfully following George W. Bush's policies to get Bin Laden. His heart may not have been in it, but somebody's reason prevailed.
Bush's policies gave us (1) Guantanamo (strongly opposed by Obama), (2) enhanced interrogation (strongly opposed by Obama), both leading to his exact whereabouts, and (3) from Day One a strong national determination to get him.
George W. Bush should be given full credit for Bin Laden's demise. On his own, Obama would probably have flunked on all of these points, and instead would have probably bowed and apologized to his fellow Muslims for being such an offense to them, and for capitalism, and for Christianity.
Instead, Obama is taking all the credit, saying "I" did this and "I" did that. For example, today he said, "At my direction, the United States launched a targeted operation against that compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan."
Somebody give me a break, and please pass the barf bag.
