Colonel (Chaplain) Jim Ammerman has gone to be with the Lord.  Great man and prophetic watchman.  He will be missed.  Thank you, Lord, for his life.

Jim Ammerman, Retired Colonel, Chaplain U. S. Army, passed into Glory May 17, 2011, at age 85.  Jim was born in Conway, Missouri, on July 20, 1925, the son of Charlene M. (Beachboard) and Elmer Henry Ammerman.  He was a 26 year veteran of the U.S. Army.  He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Charlene, and other family.  Funeral services are 12:30 pm, Friday, May 20, 2011, at Colonial Hills Baptist Church, 820 E. Wintergreen, Cedar Hill, Texas, 75104.  Interment will follow at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.  Visitation is 6-8 pm, Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Colonial Hills Baptist Church.
